WV TIS-CTE: CTE Annual Conference, July 2010

WV TIS-CTE: CTE Annual Conference, July 2010: "Part I: Please list all sessions you attended, along with the day and time they were presented. This would include general sessions. Part II..."

Started off by attending breakfast with the ACTE. It was the slated business meeting and I was not well informed about much of the issues they were voting on. The breakfast was good and I won a nice shirt as a door prize. I also found out that I won a vendor raffle prize (career and professional development software suite) so I am very glad I went!!

The next thing I attended was the session on the completers test and related issues. Although I do not have to give any of these tests, I was glad to see how receptive Ms. Tetrick was to teacher input and trying to support us as we try to do the best for our students.

The last meetng I attended was the information and discussin by Ms. Mace. She had some really good information but it was very difficult to hear much of the conversation. They kept two groups in the same room and for some unexplained reason, we had both groups right next to each other in the front of the room trying to talk over each other.
