I cannot begin to say how much fun is this! I wish I looked like my voki (lol)
I will use this to motivate my students because we are ready to start presentation soon and they have senioritis...I have a strong feeling they are going to want to make a voki of their own!

Dennison-Reflection

Well I guess I went through a little season. I have enjoyed so much about obtaining a TIS certification. There were so many times I thought "why are we doing this or that" "how will I use this"...funny thing is I think now it is all coming together and I can finally see the big picture. When I am right in the middle of lessons or projects I am overwhelmed or put some pressure on myself. When I finish or step back and look from the outside, well now that is a different story. This journey has taken me to new avenues and I have an entirely different outlook on life. The life as I once knew it is gone. Roller skating down Vermont Avenue, sandlot baseball, and stopping in the middle of a pick up game to change the players to even up the teams...now though I am a digital immigrant (well maybe not so much anymore. The natives, the scary natives ranging from birth to high school. They need so much guidance and yet they do not know it. It is exciting to think about the possibilities. To be a TIS is to empower the immigrants to reach new heights with the natives. The opportunity for relationship while creating excitement in the youth to learn with ethics and skills they do not yet know they have. I am so excited to see this generation flourish and though I wish I could take them outside the way I use to play outside, I can only possibly take them on a virtual tour...lol!
