Jill's Blog Tuesday nite ;)

Hummhhh......there seems to be some misconception on the Blog tonight b/c obviously "TEAM TECHNOLOGY"~ aka~ Chuck, Jill, Janie & Donna are definately gonna win the digital project!!!!!!!! someone even had the audacity to say they was going to kick some butt!!!!! lol , I have had a great day, first we had some much needed time w/ Abby where we went over blogging and then we worked on our Digital project, we were really motivated and got lots of inspirational ideas today :). Then we went to lunch which was much better than yesterday. Then after lunch we heard Sean Tuohy speak and I must say he is a great speaker and his message is words to live by...sometimes you have to "turn around" to get where you are supposed to be in life. I have not seen the movie as of yet only excerpts of it but it looks really good. We then went Vendor shopping got lots of goodies to share w/ our students. Then we went to the cell phone session which is something I have been trying to incorporate into my classrooms-despite administrations ranting and ravings of "no cell phones" lets face it they are here and they are not going away, so why not embrace the technology that your students already have and know how to use. Then we attended Globaloria, I think that this has the potential to be a massive time sucker and it looked like a lot of work for what seemed to me elementary level games for high school students, but maybe they will enjoy the making of the game, not to sure about this one but it is going to be in our school next year so time will tell. Then after we were done TEAM TECHNOLOGY got together and worked on our digital project..... so all you "OTHER GUYS" better put your thinking caps on !!!!! see you all tomorrow !!!!
