We attended a session on teaching Adult Education. This was extremely helpful to me as I would like to begin teaching Adult Education classes again. She gave us lots of pointers on helping them with resumes, interviews, job applications, and some websites and resources we could use with adults. She was very knowledgeable and kept our attention!
Twitter is great. However, I won't be able to use it because it is blocked at my school. I guess I will just have to wait until I get home to tweet with all of my TIS friends. He helped us set up our accounts and I am already following and being followed!
The guest speaker was not near as good as the opening speaker but he did have some good points for technology. It was hard believe the amount of money that was awarded to some schools. That is great for technology in West Virginia.
Our competition was also great. Congratulations to everyone on their projects. I think we all learned so much and will be able to take all of this back to the classroom for our students. Thanks to everyone for a great week.
