Meeting as a TIS-CTE group was informative and encouraging, as we caught up on life in general and got some of the assignments cleared up. I appreciate how everyone in the group assists each in the TIS process.
The opening session speaker had a great message to the educators present. His message on how we can touch the lives of our students is just as simple as "making the turn around."
Again as I search for methods and strategies to improve myself as an educator and look for innovations to improve the CTED at WVU TECH, I found the session of Moodle a way to accomplish both efforts. Our department is looking for a online platform that can be accessed by by both the WVU Tech students and the Marshall Graduate students that we serve. Moodle provides options and opportunities that need to be explored.
