ReplyDeleteDuring the month of December, I was involved with helping to increase our COW (computers on wheels) presence in our school. Through grants and county funding, we are purchasing two more COW’s bringing our total in the school to four. This gives us a COW for each grade level and one dedicated to our special programs.
I have been involved in a co-taught class on VRML (virtual reality modeling language) and integrating this into geometry, art, and computers. In the coming weeks I want to integrate this technology into science and the construction of solar systems to supplement the science teachers in my wing.
I am looking forward to the techSteps information, I feel that too much time passed between my training and now that I am helping teachers and answering questions.
On a personal note my foot surgery is finally starting to heal and I think I will be able to get rid of the “boot” I have been wearing for a month. I am looking forward to seeing everyone at the conference at the end of the month.
