What activities were you involved in during the month of Sepember?

• I attended a workshop sponsored by Kagan on how to improve math through the use of Kagan software and materials.
• I attended the train the trainer workshop on WVEIS on the Web.
• I attened a workshop given by Apple at the FSU GEAR UP conference on how to utilize the iPad.
• I attended a workshop on CFWV.com (College Foundations of WV).
• I attended a workshop on the Numonics Whiteboard.
• I attended a workshop on how to utilize my new book online and all of the software which accompanied the book.

What technology activities did you share with your students? Other CTE educators?

• I assisted in the FACS educator workshop on how to utilize our new book. I also shared several beneficial websites dealing with FACS and computer curriculums.
• I trained my staff on WVEIS on the Web.
• I trained my staff on our online grading program SNAPGRADES and introduced them to the new Discipline Log which we will be utilizing this year.
• I trained my staff on how to utilize our online calendar. ( www.calendarwiz.com/lmseagles) I also introduced them to our school webpage. I explained that I am the webmaster and would assist them on updating their class webpages.
• I trained my teachers on how to utilize our T-drive (LMS Teacher Informational Drive) which I created for our staff. This drive has a wealth of information on how to integrate technology into thier classroom.
• My students created a movie utilizing our flip cameras and Windows MovieMaker which was used in their All About Me PowerPoints.
• My students were trained on how to utilize my class webpages (QUIA) and class blog.
• I trained my students on how to utilize CFWV.com
• Students were chosen through an application process to become members of my "TECHIE"team (student technology team) which I am the advisor. These students will be assigned a teacher to assist throughout the school year with technology related items.
